Our Butterfly children occupy the Annex building, this consists of four rooms which entail the main room, a meal room/ structured activity room, computer room and cosy/sensory room. The Butterfly children also have open access to the outdoor areas.

The butterflies continue to learn new skills and experiences through structured/child-led activities as well as continuous provision. They are encouraged to participate in games and activities that will begin to prepare them for school. We hope to help develop independence and an enthusiasm for learning that will grow throughout their school life.

We have a school readiness co-ordinator role – This position will be to focus on implementing the school readiness program designed to address the readiness skill needed by pre-schoolers before they start their academic year.

We have introduced a nursery app called famly, to record photographs, development together with the achievements your child makes at nursery.
